Mobile Phone Coverage Provided To South Uist
Mobile phone coverage has been provided to parts of the Western Isles for the first time, according to Virgin Media O2.

Google Beefing Up Android's Google Play Protect Service
Google is beefing up its malware detection with new protections designed to suss out ever-sneakier bad actors.
Android’s Google Play Protect service is getting an update called live threat detection which seeks out potentially harmful apps on your phone by analyzing app behavior and alerts you in realtime if something looks fishy.
The update was first announced at Google I/O earlier this year and is available now to Pixel 6 and newer phones. It should come to additional non-Pixel Android phones from Lenovo, OnePlus, Nothing, and Oppo, among others “in the coming months.”

App Of The Week
This weeks app of the week is called Pinnit
This app will require permissions to access all other apps on your phone, but for a good cause—it ensures all your notifications remain pinned at the top of the notification pane, until you unpin it, that is.
It pins all notifications by default, and even tapping "Clear" in the pull-down notification pane will not remove pinned items. They will remain there until you purposely unpin those.
This app is free to download on Android devices only.
