A high school will require pupils to drop their devices in a box each morning as it implements a mobile phone ban that it claims will "improve learning, behaviour and mental health".
Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy, in Runcorn, said that as of January, pupils would be required to place their phones in a box at the start of the school day and only be allowed to collect them before they went home.

App Of The Week
This weeks app of the week is called Ted Tumblewords
Netflix’s TED Tumblewords is a tile-sliding game that requires players to be at the top of their vocabulary game, forming chain words by unscrambling the bunch of letters for that particular round.
The gameplay is fast-paced, very quite the opposite of Wordle where you have all the time in the world to think of the next possible word.
To use this app you will need a Netflix Subscription, but it is free to download on your IOS and Android Devices.

🛡️ Security Corner 🛡️
With so many of us now shopping online, it’s no surprise that criminals are increasingly turning to web-enabled fraud to steal our money and personal details
You can research online shops to check they're legitimate, particularly if it’s a store you’ve not used before. Use consumer websites, or reviews from people (or organisations) that you trust.
You might receive suspicious emails or texts (known as phishing messages) that contain links to fake shops, with promotions that seem too good to be true.
These days it’s easy for a criminal to duplicate the design of a legitimate website, which will often include logos, trademarks and products copied from a genuine store.
From Myself, Merry Christmas!
