Adobe Being Sued By US Goverment
The US government has sued software giant Adobe, accusing it of violating consumer protection laws with "hidden" termination fees and a convoluted cancellation process.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) said the firm had failed to clearly disclose its terms to customers, including the year-long length of a subscription and charges that would be triggered for cancelling early.
In its complaint, the agency said Adobe had refused to modify its behaviour because it would hurt the company financially.
Adobe disputed the claims and said it would fight the lawsuit.

Extra workers at Birmingham Airport
Extra workers at Birmingham Airport have been brought in to "explain cabin baggage liquid rules to passengers" who are continuing to face long queues to get through security.
The short-term move follows continuing criticism over lengthy hold-ups that have caused some people to miss flights.
An enlarged temporary structure with a number of so-called "liquid check stations" has now opened, the airport said.

London hospitals Hack: Cyber-Criminals "Sorry"
The cyber-criminals responsible for causing major disruption at London hospitals say they are “sorry" for all the harm caused but are “not to blame”.
The London hospitals hack was first announced on 3 June when pathology service provider Synnovis said all its IT systems were offline.
It meant that blood tests and information-sharing could not be carried out using the normal computerised systems.
According to NHS London, five planned C-sections were rescheduled and 18 organs were diverted for use by other trusts, while 736 hospital outpatient appointments and 125 community outpatient appointments had to be postponed.
