Guernsey's Fibre Broadband Rollout - 15,000th Property
Guernsey's fibre broadband rollout has passed a major milestone, with the 15,000th property added to the network, telecoms bosses say.
Sure, which is rolling out the network on behalf of the States, said 75% of premises on the island were now able to get fibre broadband.

Morrisons Customers Encounted Delays over Christmas Period
Some Morrisons customers encountered delays with their Christmas orders more than 24 hours after the supermarket experienced what it called "systems issues".
It follows chaotic scenes at the UK's fifth biggest supermarket on 23 December - the biggest grocery shopping day of the year - which saw deliveries cancelled and discounts not applied.
Morrisons has apologised and says deliveries are back to normal

Hackney Council, London Spending More Money For Cyber Security
Hackney Council is to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds more than planned as part of work to recover from a cyber attack in 2020.
In January 2021 a criminal group posted personal details of council staff and residents on the dark web following a ransomware attack three months earlier.
In July of 2024, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) rebuked the local authority for a "lack of proper security and processes to protect personal data".
