Instagram Is Testing Unskippable Adverts
Instagram is testing adverts that users cannot skip past.
The social media platform currently allows people to swipe or scroll past adverts that appear in its main feed of images and videos, as well as in its Stories and Reels feeds.
But it is now trialling a feature called "ad break", which users say they can not flick past as usual.
Images shared online show a timer, which counts down to zero before normal functionality can resume.

Google Must Face A Lawsuit
Google must face a £13.6bn lawsuit alleging it has too much power over the online advertising market, a court has ruled.
The case, brought by a group called Ad Tech Collective Action LLP, alleges the search giant behaved in an anti-competitive way which caused online publishers in the UK to lose money.
Google parent company Alphabet called the case "incoherent" in its attempts to get the legal action dropped.
But the Competition Appeal Tribunal, in London, has ruled that the case can go to trial.

London Hospitals: Russian Hackers Behind The Cyber Attack
Russian hackers are behind the cyber attack on a number of major London hospitals, according to the former chief executive of the National Cyber Security Centre.
Hospitals declared a critical incident on Tuesday last week after the ransomware attack, which affected blood transfusions and test results.
It also led to operations being cancelled and emergency patients being diverted elsewhere.

It is a volunteer-powered app, where those who can see can sign up as a volunteer, enable Bluetooth, microphone, and camera access on their smartphones, and choose a language.
Some scenarios where Be My Eyes can be of help include assisting a person in using home appliances, reading medicine labels, being able to match outfits for that night out, or perhaps navigating through more complex TV menus
