Chords Of Indigo
From Monday 20th onwards, our artist of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature is Chords Of Indigo.
The man behind the name is Lee Hornsby, who grew up in the North East, but is now based in Manchester. His music style takes its inspiration from indie, modern rock, folk and pop, and influences include Death Cab for Cutie, Bon Iver, Sam Fender, The War On Drugs and many more.
2023 was a busy debut year for the musician and producer, self-releasing his first six genre-spanning singles to positive critical acclaim from several respected music magazines.
Chords Of Indigo’s music has been streamed thousands of times and has already received widespread airplay support from multiple regional radio stations and national outlets that support independent music. His first release of 2024, ‘Labyrinth’ was released in March to more independent critical acclaim, with more releases planned, building up to a debut, full-band performance later in the year. You can find all of his music on Spotify and all good music streaming sites.
Chords Of Indigo will be played on every weekday show on Tameside Radio between 6am and 7pm all of next week. He also joined the team on The Dave Sweetmore Show last Monday night, you can listen again via the OnDemand section of the website.
