Fragile Audio

From Monday 3rd February onwards, band of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature are Fragile Audio. The band was formed in 2003 by singer and songwriter Matt Gough. With a Psychedelic Rock 'n' Roll sound, Fragile Audio have worked with and supported many bands including The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Starsailor, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Space, The Bluetones, The Blockheads plus many more. The band have recently returned after a three-year break, their last live performance was at the 'Made in Manchester Festival' in front of 2000 people. After that gig, Fragile Audio announced that they were to end and thanked everyone for their support. Fast forward to January 2025 and the band are back, with a brand-new single entitled '38 Snub', which is out now and available on all of the usual streaming platforms, with a follow up single 'Summer' set to be released in February. Comeback gigs are being planned, and with hints of a new album also in the making, it's good to have Matt Gough and his band back on the local music scene.
