Jacob Reddy

From Monday 22nd July onwards, our artist of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature is Jacob Reddy. He's been performing live since the age of 14, and including his biggest headline gig to date last year at Manchester's Deaf Institute live music venue. Joining him on stage were several of his friends who were musicians, which is the point when Jacob decided to put a full band together to complete his already brilliant sound.

With Jacob, the four-piece band are collectively influenced by the likes of Biffy Clyro, Catfish and The Bottlemen, The Wombats, Circa Waves, Inhaler, Frank Turner, Royal Blood, Enter Shikari, and The Ks. Since completing the line up, Jacob Reddy and his band have performed at many shows and festivals, and with their loud, lively, and energetic performances they've been one of the highlights everywhere they've played.

The bands next single, 'Flowers', will be released on July 26th, and with lots of exciting plans for the future, including the release of their first full length EP which will be released in Autumn, they're one of the most exciting new bands around, with a future that's looking very bright.

Jacob Reddy's music will be played on every weekday show on Tameside Radio between 6am and 7pm from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th July, you can find him on all social media platforms, and his music on all streaming sites. Jacob also joined the team on The Dave Sweetmore Show on Monday 15th July, you can listen again to that via the OnDemand section of the website.
