Local Music Spotlight Recap
We are almost 90 weeks into our Local Music Spotlight feature, and the huge success of the project continues to grow with us still booking bands and artists into our calendar up into 2025.
From Monday onwards, as we do every few months, we will be revisiting some of our recent bands and artists, with highlights from April to August being played on every weekday show next week. Bands and artists featuring throughout the week on Alex Cann's breakfast show, Martin Emery's daytime show, and Dave Sweetmore's drivetime show, will include Long Island, Triiip, Jacob Reddy, Midnight Swim, Gdansk81, Ambiere, Fleurs, Belle, Tom Byrom, 25th Hour, The Tames, Rick Holden, Blueberry Hawks, Chords Of Indigo, and Inego.
You can find out more about all bands and artists who have featured on the Tameside Radio website, along with a link to our official Local Music Spotlight Spotify playlist, which features every band and artist who have been a part since its launch in January 2023.
Tickets are also now on sale for our next 'Dave Sweetmore's Indie Rock n Roll - Local Music Spotlight Live' night which takes place on Friday September 27th at Whittles Live Music Venue in Oldham. Playing live at our third event will be Inego, Jacob Reddy, The DDE's, Bohmen, Long Island, Rick Holden and Atlas, with DJ sets from Tameside Radio's Dave Sweetmore and Laura Beth. Tickets are on sale from our website, www.tamesideradio.com.
