Glossop's local Woodcraft Folk youth group is looking for young members aged 6-12 years.
Youth organisation Woodcraft Folk is a vibrant and inclusive UK cooperative movement for children and young people.
Through weekly group nights, campaigns, events and youth programmes the charity supports children and young people to take the lead and change their world.
Woodcraft Folk is open to individuals and families as well as providing services for schools, other youth groups and businesses through their diverse offering.
Local youth groups are the lifeblood of the organisation with nearly 200 across England, Wales and Scotland catering for ages 0-20. Many older members have enjoyed their time at the charity so much they decide to stick around once they are too old to attend a local group to volunteer in a range of roles from sitting on the general council, to helping to run local groups or organising camps.
The weekly groups offer an exciting mix of activities, including games, crafts, discussions, music, workshops and drama where big ideas and topical issues are explored in an inspiring and engaging environment.
