Back in January we launched our Local Music Spotlight feature, and to celebrate its success so far, from this Monday onwards Tameside Radio will be playing a track by a band or artist who has featured so far on every weekday show from 6am on Monday until 7pm on Friday.
We've now featured 32 acts and have many more to feature in the forthcoming months.
Each week a band or artist has a feature in each Quest Media newspaper publications, plus online, and an interview plus live performance opportunity on DaveSweetmore's weekly Monday night Show. The week after the interview, for a full week, the chosen band or artist's music will be played on every weekday show with Alex Cann, Martin Emery and Dave Sweetmorefor a full week, and then added to the official Tameside Radio Spotify playlist. It's a hugely popular and respected feature and we are always looking for bands and artists to get involved.
Age and Genre doesn't matter, as long as it's original music you are making and have a connection to Tameside, Derbyshire, or Greater Manchester.
