Tameside Youth Drama produce two shows a year, performing a musical in the summer.

Performers are rewarded for their efforts each show with a series of awards and certificates - including The Reporter Award.

The popular group, for eight to 18-year-olds, will be entering its 37th year this year and holds rehearsals at Astley Sports College, Yew Tree Lane, Dukinfield.

The group was initially established to give young people something to do - with some going on to forge careers in the theatre all these years later.
