A foul problem in Charlesworth

Dog fouIing on Charlesworth Village Green is emerging as a major problem with the parish council.

It has become so bad that one member is suggesting asking owners to keep pets on a lead at all times to prevent the dogs from fouling the children’s play areas.

Other suggestions include getting dog bins, poo bags and signs.

Councillors finally decided to discuss a bin with the borough council and inform the enforcement officer that the green is now a dog fouling ‘hot spot’.
