Huge matrix signs have gone up as part of a police and Derbyshire County Council partnership aimed at keeping local people safe.
One of them is situated on the Cornmill roundabout on High Street East in Glossop, just a few hundred yards from the start of the Snake Pass - the main route between Sheffield and Manchester.
Similar signs have gone up on other High Peak roads following concerns by residents of people travelling into the area during the coronavirus pandemic.
Glossop Police's Safer Neighbourhood Team posted a picture of another of the signs on Chapel Road in Hayfield.
They said: "Following concerns from local residents regarding people travelling into the area during COVID, we have arranged in partnership with Derbyshire County Council, to have Matrix signs placed. These are to remind people of the guidelines regarding travel."
