Additional stop for 393 bus

From Monday (25 April), the 393 bus will include an additional stop on Bernard Street in Glossop.

The change will enable bus users to access Aldi and the lower end of High Street West more easily.

The service will initially operate as a ‘Hail & Ride’ service until High Peak Borough Council installs a standard fixed bus stop.

The 393 route is currently operated by High Peak Buses and serves Hadfield, Padfield, Dinting Vale, Glossop and Shirebrook.

Further information is available at highpeakbuses.com/bus-services or by calling High Peak Buses Customer Services on 0844 351 1120.

High Peak MP Robert Largan has welcomed the move that follows a request he put forward on behalf of residents.

He said: “It will make a real difference to lots of local people, especially those who have mobility issues.”
