Firefighters from the High Peak were called out to rescue an adult and two children from the Monsal Trail in the Peak District.
Crews from Whaley Bridge Buxton Fire Station and Alfreton Community Fire Station, as well as volunteers from Buxton Mountain Rescue Team and paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service, were called to the scene on Tuesday evening (16 August) at around 8pm.
Firefighters made their way down the trail to the What3Words location, where two children and an adult had become stuck on the outside of a tunnel.
Crews worked in difficult conditions and terrain to successfully rescue all of the casualties.
