An air ambulance was called to Kinder Scout on Saturday afternoon (5 March) after a medical incident involving a walker.
Volunteers from Kinder Mountain Rescue Team were called first to assist the man, who had managed to get as far as Edale Rocks but was unable to continue.
Due to the amount of pain he was in, that was rapidly getting worse, the air ambulance was requested to take him to hospital for further investigations.
On Sunday (6 March), members of Edale MRT were called to help a walker who had suffered painful ankle injury after slipping on Long Cliff near Speedwell Cavern.
He was given pain relief before his ankle was splinted and he was carried on a stretcher to the cavern car park and the waiting ambulance.
