Hadfield gallery space the Wall in the Barn is hosting its third FRESH exhibition of the work of artists and photographers aged 16 to 30.
The exhibition will take place within The Craft Barn, situated at 103a Station Road, from 19 to 26 February and the call is going out now for young adults to take part.
The exhibition is open to artists, amateur and professional, using any medium.
Gallery manager Julia Norton told us: "This is a fantastic opportunity for younger artists to show and sell their work. In previous years we have had an eclectic array of entries, all of a very high standard."
FRESH is also a competition with the chance to win two cash prizes. The judges' pick is a £150 prize and the People's Choice winner will receive £50.
Guest judge this year is Michael Ashcroft - a professional artist based in Lancashire, who is a member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
Submission forms are available by emailing julia.craftbarn@gmail.com. The entry deadline is 6pm on Friday 28 January.
