Another successful craft fair at Hadfield Hall

More than 100 people came to see and buy a wide variety of locally made hand-crafted goods at the Friends of Hadfield Hall's Autumn Craft Fair.

Among the items on sale were wood-turned items, personalised keepsakes, textiles and assorted crafts, glass, bunting, wreaths, cushions and sewn items, fossils, jewellery, Christmas cards, and sweets and confectionery.

Saturday's event raised £350 for the ongoing appeal to install a lift at Hadfield Hall, with the group hopeful that work will be starting on it soon.

Chair Joy Hallsworth said: "Fundraising will continue in 2023 to meet the increase in costs of building materials and other costs. A big thank you to all the stallholders who came to sell and all those who came to buy."
