APPEAL: Officers investigating a collision in Glossop are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage

The collision, involving an Audi TT and a Vauxhall Corsa, occurred in North Road at around 4pm on Tuesday 25 July.

The Vauxhall Corsa initially left the scene but was found abandoned shortly afterwards in The Shaw.

The driver of the Audi TT, a 19-year-old woman, was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary for treatment. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, a man in his 30s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident. He has been released on police bail as investigations continue.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision as well as anyone who has any dashcam footage.
