Friends of Hadfield Hall will be welcoming artists and visitors to Hadfield when hosting its annual art show and the return of the Pro Loco competition.
The art show will run from Saturday 27 May to Monday 29 May in the upper room at Hadfield Hall. It will be open from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday, and from 10am to 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
Judges include Glossop artist Jean Hobson, photographer Adrian Lambert and textile artist Maxine Pigram. At the same time, there will be a children's exhibition at The Craft Barn off Station Road.
Both shows welcome art from all interested.

Artists over 16 can submit three pieces of work at £3 per piece for the show in the Hall, whilst children can submit one piece without charge at the exhibition in The Craft Barn.
After the very successful first Pro Loco last year, the second Open Outdoor Painting competition will take place on Saturday. Artists over 16 are invited to create a piece of work within a few hours, outdoors, showing a view of Hadfield.
All entries are then displayed in the community room at the Hall and a winner chosen by public vote.
