Glossop-based Dark Peak Music Foundation is back in the swing of things and doing what it does best - entertaining a live audience.
A selection of the top musicians were in Norfolk Square on Saturday afternoon ‘busking’ and giving a free concert.
It was the first time the foundation had played a live show for well over 12 months and the young music makers were given a great reception.
A large crowd basked and picnicked in the sun as the band played popular numbers, including songs from the shows.
Foundation founder Jeff Snowden, who had happily announced the re-start of live rehearsals several weeks ago, looked a happy man as he conducted the band.
More live performances are likely to be on their way as the Covid-19 restrictions ease.
The tour of Poland planned for this summer, which had to be postponed due to Covid, is scheduled for August next year.
