Four brave and hairy bikers from Hadfield have had their chests and legs waxed to raise money for charity.
Pist’N’Nuts Motorcycle Club was established just over two years ago and quickly attracted more than 20 members.
They meet every Thursday at The Pear Tree pub in Hadfield and raise money for a chosen charity each year.
This year it is the Macmillan Cancer Unit at Tameside Hospital. It was chosen last year because club member John Hill’s partner Paula was diagnosed with breast cancer.
John told us: "I was determined to remain calm and not show any pain - in fact it tickles! Plus I’m a big tough biker, so I don’t want everyone to know how soft I am by screaming!”
John, along with Stephen Fothergill, Stephen Williams and Xavier Sutcliffe, were all brave enough to have their legs and chests waxed to raise money for the unit.
"We’d love to raise between £1,500 and £2,000," John said. "Money is already coming in but our Treasurer is still receiving donations so we don’t know the final total yet.”
