Brookfield building to get new lease of life

Options House at the entrance to Glossop's Brookfield Industrial Estate is to get a new lease of life.

Toolstation Ltd has been given change of use planning permission to Class B (storage or distribution).

High Peak Borough Council planners have also approved the installation of a replacement boundary fence.

The building is currently vacant, but was previously occupied by Homestyle (pictured), as a showroom and stockists of windows, doors and conservatories.

Toolstation Ltd is a UK- wide subsidiary of Travis Perkins with 400 outlets.

The Glossop site will employ between five and eight full-time equivalent staff and will be open seven days a week.
