Business network meeting

The next meeting of the Glossop Business Network is on Friday 21 February.

As ever, it will be from 12pm to 2pm at Glossop Cricket and Bowling Club on North Road.

All local business people are welcome to come along to promote their business with like-minded people.

The guest speaker will be Andrew Hankin, who is the founder of Hero Transformations - part of the Hero Group.

Andrew set up the mental health service based on his own experiences to help other people and aim to reduce global suicide rates. He researched, learned and re-trained to create his own programme, Hero Transformations.

The company adopts a personal approach and works with individuals on a one-to-one basis. This can either be through a direct individual request or via companies to supplement their employee assistance or benefits programmes, as companies now recognise their role in staff mental health.

There are no membership or joining fees for GBN. The meeting is £15, payable on the day, which includes a meal – with a vegetarian option available.

Attendees are urged to bring as much promotional material as they wish, including roll-up banners and business cards.

For more information or to book on the meeting, visit the website www.glossopbusinessnetwork.co.uk or call Kathy Ford on 07818 044768.
