Buxton Festival Fringe is looking forward to its open-to-all AGM on Wednesday 9 November.
The event, at The Green Man Gallery on Hardwick Square South at 7pm for 7.30pm, represents a chance to celebrate the success of Fringe 2022.
The important posts of Chair, Vice-chair, Treasurer and Secretary will be voted in as well as the committee itself, which is always looking for new members.
Fringe chair Stephen Walker said: "As the Fringe settles into a hopefully more normal routine after getting back to full strength in the summer, the AGM offers a great opportunity to find out more about us for all those interested in getting involved in the cultural life of the town.”
The friendly AGM includes a chance and take part in a Q&A with the team. It will be followed by an abbreviated committee meeting with newcomers welcome to stay and see how the Fringe works before deciding whether they want to join the committee.
The 2022 Fringe featured 171 mostly live events entertaining audiences in and around the town.
Next year’s event will be held from July 5-23 with the Fringe website open for entries from 1 December. See www.buxtonfringe.org.uk for full details.
