Audiences in Glossop can enjoy a preview of the summer programme when the Buxton International Festival Roadshow visits the town.
The Partington Theatre in Glossop will play host to a performance of opera, music and jazz on Thursday 5 May at 7pm.
There will be performances from members of the Northern Chamber Orchestra and Royal Northern College of Music including arias from Rossini, Donizetti and Hasse as well as music from Elgar, Handel and Piazzolla.
In addition, the evening will feature show tunes from the Festival’s brand-new musical, produced in collaboration with Buxton Opera House, Gypsy: A Musical Fable and the evening will be rounded off with some excerpts from the festival’s jazz programme.
Doors open from 6.30pm and tickets cost £10 – with a 10 per cent discount for groups of 10 or more. For tickets and more information, visit www.buxtonfestival.co.uk.
