Buxton Mountain Rescue Team is recruiting for volunteers

A High Peak mountain rescue team is looking to recruit new operational members. 

Buxton MRT has full information and application forms now available on their website for people interested in volunteering with them.  

Operational members, who undergo 12-18 months of training, need to live within 30 minutes of Buxton and meet their specific entry requirement. 

Successful applicants who get through the selection process which includes a navigation and hill skills assessment day in April will then start the training programme.
