Buxton Opera House has had to cancel all of its festive pantomime performances due to Covid-19.
Scheduled dates of this year's Opera House panto, Aladdin, were first disrupted on Boxing Day after members of the cast tested positive for the virus.
The venue then tweeted on Thursday (30 December) to say that day's two performances had to be pulled, before later confirming that all remaining performances on Friday 31 December and Saturday 1 January have also been cancelled.
A statement said: "We are deeply saddened to announce that, due to members of the cast testing positive for Covid-19, ALL remaining performances of our pantomime, Aladdin (Friday 31st December, Saturday 1st January) have been CANCELLED.
"We would like to apologise to all ticket holders that we will no longer be able to bring this magical show to you, but we hope that you understand the circumstances that we face."
Ticket holders are being urged to visit https://buxtonoperahouse.org.uk/news/cancelled-aladdin for more information and options.
