Car collides with a bus shelter in Furness Vale

Two elderly people were injured after a car collided with a bus shelter in Furness Vale. 

Police officers were called on Sunday afternoon (8 January) at around 4:25pm, after receiving reports of a car collision with a bus shelter on Buxton Road, outside The Soldier Dick pub. 

Derbyshire Police say the driver of the vehicle was a woman in her 70s, who was accompanied by another adult who was also in his 70s.

Both were treated at the scene for minor injuries by the ambulance service.
