CCTV appeal after alleged assault in Chapel

Police have released CCTV images of a number of people they would like to trace in connection with an alleged assault in Chapel-en-le-Frith.

It comes as officers continue to investigate an incident which was reported to have happened between around 10.30pm and 11pm on Friday 27 August on Market Street, near to the Morrison’s petrol station.

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after suffering a fractured eye socket and cuts and bruises to his face. 

Anyone who recognises anyone in the image, or has any information which could help with enquiries, is asked to contact Derbyshire Constabulary using any of the below methods, including reference 21*499734.
