Chance for Chinley residents to raise concerns with police

Chinley and Whitehough residents are being given a chance to raise their concerns with and ask questions of Derbyshire Police at an online forum this week.

It's being held on Thursday evening (24 June) from 7pm.

It's been organised by High Peak MP Robert Largan, who held a similar forum for Fairfield residents in Buxton earlier this year.

The number of participants is limited to 300, and residents need to register to attend at www.robertlargan.co.uk/chinleyforum, where they can also submit a question they’d like to ask the police.

The MP said: “I’m very grateful to Derbyshire Police for once again agreeing to take part in my community forum, and for all the hard work they do to keep us safe, especially during these difficult times.

“Following the success of my previous community policing forum, I hope that this one will enable residents of Chinley and Whitehough to engage with the police, and have their say on what the local policing priorities should be.”
