Chapel library to reopen

Chapel-en-le-Frith library, in Market Square, is set to reopen its doors on Monday (7 September) for the first time since lockdown.

It will be the third library in the High Peak to reopen, after Glossop and Buxton.

New Mills library, Hall Street, re-opens on September 14, followed by Hayfield and Whaley Bridge libraries on September 21, and Gamesley and Hadfield's on September 28.

Derbyshire County Council say it has adopted a phased approach to reopening all 45 of its libraries across the county.

They all have the same opening hours - 10am to 4pm - Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays, until further notice.
