Charity abseil to support hospice care

Adrenaline junkies or those looking to challenge their fear of heights are being invited to go over the edge to raise funds for a hospice at home service.

A fundraising abseil from the iconic Millers Dale Bridge in the Peak District National Park is being hosted by Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust on Saturday 19 March.

The bridge over the River Wye provides a thrilling location for the 80-foot abseil, 90 per cent of which is free hanging above the water below!

Anyone wanting to take part must be aged 10 years and over. There is a £20 registration fee and £75 minimum sponsorship requirement.

To find out more contact Rachael Gee, Fundraising and Events Coordinator, by calling 01298 384 105 or emailing events@blythehouse.co.uk

The charity's Hospice at Home service provides care for patients in the High Peak, Derbyshire Dales and North East Derbyshire.
