There will be a quiz night in Gamesley later this month to raise money for Crossroads Derbyshire.
It has been organised by Karen Broaders and will take place on Saturday, January 25, at 7pm.
It will take place at Geoffrey Allen Church & Community Centre on Winster Mews.
Entry is £5 for a team of up to four people, and there will also be a raffle.
There is no need to book in advance, just turn up and pay on the night.
All proceeds will go to Crossroads Derbyshire, formerly High Peak Women's Aid, who provide confidential help and advice for adults, children and young people experiencing domestic violence or domestic abuse.
Dogs Trust Manchester is raising awareness about why some dogs are trained to wear a muzzle, hoping to change perceptions and encourage more people to consider adopting one of the muzzled dogs patiently waiting for their forever homes.
