Chatty Café Scheme comes to Glossop

Tesco Glossop.

A scheme that works to reduce loneliness by getting people chatting in cafes is expanding.

It was founded by Alexandra Hoskyn, who after a miserable day at a café with her infant son, noticed that no one was talking to each other.

She found that by introducing ‘Chatter & Natter’ signs on tables in cafes it created a space for people to talk.

Now Tesco Café in Glossop has joined the national scheme and will have a Chat and Natter table to help encourage people to talk to one another and to bring people together if they fancy having a chat.
