
Police are investigating after 12 chickens were stolen from an allotment in Tintwistle.
It's believed to have happened sometime overnight between Sunday 9 and Monday 10 May at the site just off Old Road.
The birds have been removed from a secure compound/coup within the allotment itself. There were eight brown chickens and four whites ones taken.
