Children from a Hadfield school have been presented with prizes after making Easter bonnets.
The Mayor and Mayoress of High Peak, Cllr Paul Hardy and his wife Mary, were guests of honour at the presentation at Hadfield Infants School.
All the pupils paraded their Easter bonnets, recited poetry and sang the school song at a special assembly last week.
The Mayor told us: “The children were amazing - they’re absolutely brilliant and the children have obviously worked so hard on their bonnets.”

Chair of the school governors Kath Holtom (pictured below) added: “I’m so proud of them all. It’s been a lovely assembly and parents have been able to attend for the first time in two years now the Covid restrictions have been eased."
