The Pennine Singers choir is holding its first concert for over two years this weekend.
The choir, whose members are mainly from the Glossop and Saddleworth areas, have been performing concerts for several years in Glossop Parish Church.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, ‘The Pennines’ have managed to continue rehearsing via Zoom and are now really excited to be able to perform live concerts again to an audience.
The choir's first concert since the pandemic began will be taking place on Saturday (5 March) at Glossop Parish Church from 7.30pm.
The talented group of singers will be performing a programme celebrating English Song, which includes works by Vaughan Williams, Elgar, Chilcott, Finzi, Stanford, Gibbons and Rutter.
Tickets are £8 on the door and refreshments will be available during the interval.
