The spirit of the festive season will be alive and well in Tintwistle, as the village's Parish Council have organised a Christmas Market.
It will be held on Sunday, December 15, between 12pm and 5pm at the playing field on Sexton Street.
Organiser Emily Scriven said: "We have got two marquees so it’s all sheltered and we’ve got the din din food truck, which is very well known, and Howard Town Brewery coming. We have about 10 to 15 local crafters and bakers at the event so far.
"This is a non-profit event and any profit will be going towards the building for the new community centre in Tintwistle. It should be a really lovely Christmas event."
There will be festive music and last-minute gift opportunities, as well as lots of local crafts and homemade goods including candles, homemade cakes and bakes, chocolate bars, handmade frames, hand-crafted presents and much more.
Admission will be just 20p due to licensing.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
