Colouring competition for children

A colouring competition has been launched for children by Derbyshire Neighbourhood Watch.

It’s about why the Queen should visit local neighbourhoods to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.

A spokesperson said: "We are excited to launch our Neighbourhood Watch Jubilee competition and are looking for local area budding artists aged up to 6 years for our Mini Neighbourhood Watch artist competition and 7 years to 16 years for our Neighbourhood Watch artist.

"All you have to do is simply colour in our picture and tell us why the Queen should visit your street or community and what is so great about where you live, no more than 100 words.”

Two winners will be selected - one mini neighbourhood watch artist and one neighbourhood watch artist from each of the Derbyshire areas including High Peak - and then an overall winner for Derbyshire on 25 May.

Visit www.derbyshireneighbourhoodwatch.co.uk/jubilee-competition for more details including how to enter.
