To help them hit all the right note, a community choir is looking for more tenors and basses.
High Peak Singers rehearses on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8.30pm at St Mary's Catholic Voluntary Primary School in New Mills.
Led by award-winning conductor Hannah Brine, the choir is for anyone who loves to sing. You don't need to have any experience, just enthusiasm.
Hannah said: “We have over 40 sopranos and altos in the choir and really need more lower voices to balance the mix.
“So, any budding Frank Sinatra's or Michael Ball's out there - we'd love to hear from you!”
Since forming, the choir has performed a number of concerts, raising over £1,000 for charity including Kinder Mountain Rescue, Reuben's Retreat, and New Mills Volunteer Centre.
Hannah said: "We sing a wide range of repertoire so there will be something for everyone. I am a trained singing teacher so even those who think their voices are best kept to the privacy of their own showers will be surprised at how fantastic they can sound with a bit of coaching.”
