Tintwistle Children's Gala will be returning this summer and organisers are looking for people to get involved to help make it another great event.
The village's biggest annual event at the West Drive Football Centre is always popular, with hundreds of people enjoying a fun-filled afternoon last year.
It's thanks to the hard work of chief organisers Tintwistle Athletic, as well as so many other people and volunteers.
It has now been confirmed that this year's extravaganza will take place on Saturday 24 June.
There's a planning meeting on Wednesday 22 February at 6.30pm at the Tintwistle Athletic FC clubhouse.
Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be free tea and coffee along with biscuits for all attendees.
Anyone who has ideas or would like to put forward offers of help but cannot make the meeting can send a message to the Tintwistle Children's Gala Facebook group.
