Law firm Davis Blank Furniss is increasing the level of corporate and commercial services it offers to clients in Glossop and the High Peak.
Following a rise in demand from local businesses, the firm’s senior corporate team of Sonio Singh, Andrew Ryan, Richard Hamilton and Andy McNish will now be deployed from the Manchester office to Glossop on set days each week.
They will be delivering advice on various matters including business sales/purchases, mergers and acquisitions, corporate recovery and insolvency, shareholder/partnership agreements, contracts, terms and conditions, commercial litigation and commercial property.
Sonio Singh, Partner and Head of the Corporate and Commercial Department, said: “We have had a presence in Glossop since 1877 and have become part of its fabric.
“We are passionate about supporting local businesses as we come out of the pandemic so now felt like the right time to ramp up our corporate and commercial presence in the town and wider High Peak."
Sonio added: “The area is full of established companies, but also boasts a thriving community of young and ambitious entrepreneurs which is incredibly exciting.
“Our focus is on supporting local businesses by offering them a first class and integrated service that spans all areas of business law. That expertise is available right here in Glossop and it’s something that we are proud to offer.”
The team will also be able to coordinate complementary services including employment as well as wills and LPAs for business owners.
