Planning officers are still considering controversial plans for a new McDonald's drive-thru to be built in Glossop.
The application had been expected to go before High Peak Borough Council's Development Control Committee this month for a decision to be made.
However, officers were not in a position to be able to present their recommendations in time for the meeting that takes place on Monday (7 November).
According to the council website, it is expected to go before the committee on 12 December.
The fast-food giant wants to build a drive-thru and restaurant on the site of the former Wrens Nest pub, in proposals that have split opinion locally.
If approved, the development will create new jobs but concerns have been raised about the impact such a development would have on traffic congestion.
