If you are looking for an adventure, you don't have to travel far according to new research that has judged Derbyshire to be the seventh best place in the UK.
The study for Millets was to discover the best places for hiking, running, canoeing, cycling and even skiing.
To rate each area, they looked at the number of walking routes, mountain bike trails, climbing routes, outdoor ski slopes, horse riding trails, campsites, lakes, and mountains each area has to offer.
North Yorkshire came out on top followed by the Highlands in Scotland and Cumbria coming third.
