Police officers in Glossop have helped make a dream come true for a six-year-old boy.
Theo Roberts has a rare genetic condition called Bardet-Biedl syndrome, which causes multiple health problems including sight loss.
There is no cure for Bardet-Biedl syndrome and Theo’s eyesight is deteriorating so he has put together a bucket list of things he would like to do before he loses his sight completely.
An avid fan of police interceptors, Theo told his mum Laura that he wanted to go in a prison cell and to see a police station.
Thanks to Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team, Theo was welcomed as a special visitor to Glossop Police Station last week.
Glossop Police SNT said: "Meeting Theo and his family was a brilliant experience for the team, engaging with this young man is what community policing is all about.
“We look forward to meeting with Theo again very soon but hopefully next time he won’t be behind bars.”
A crowdfunding page https://www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-help-theo-roberts has been set up to help Theo achieve his bucket list which includes swimming with dolphins, a trip to Disneyland and visiting his grandad in Australia.
