Electric bike stolen in Glossop after cyclist pushed to ground

Police are investigating after a cyclist was pushed to the ground by two males and his electric bike was stolen in the Wren's Nest area of Glossop. 

The incident happened at around 9.30pm on Thursday 23 March at a cycle rack opposite the Next store in the retail park. 

The bike is described as a "specialist turbo levy electric mountain bike" as pictured.

The robbers made off in the direction of Simmondley or Gamesley on a black moped and the bike they had stolen. 

The male on the moped is described as wearing all black clothing with a black motorcycle helmet with the visor down. 

The other male, who took the bike, is described as being around 5ft 10in, wearing all black clothing and a balaclava. 

Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV, dash cam or Ring Doorbell footage, or any other information, to get in touch.
