Enjoy a treasure hunt this Easter

Families will be able to take part in some Easter fun when walking on the trail starting in Simmondley.

Simmondley School Parents' Association has organised a treasure hunt, which will take place from Good Friday (2 April) to Easter Monday (5 April).

The mission is to find nine numbered stones on the trail - starting at the end of Green Lane and going past Hargate Hill towards Broadbottom.

The clues will end at the bridge.

Next to the numbered stone will be another stone with a letter on it. Youngsters should write down all the letters to make an Easter word.

Answers should be emailed to pasimmondleyprimaryschool@gmail.com by 12pm on Tuesday 6 April.

The winner will be announced on the PA's Facebook page at 6pm later that day.

It's free to enter and anyone in the local community can take part.
