Police in Derbyshire are investigating reports of fake Rolex watches being sold on online selling sites.
Over the past five months, it is believed that a number of high-value Rolex watches have been sold to unsuspecting customers.
Anyone who has bought a Rolex in the past five months from an online marketplace is asked to first take the watch to a reputable watch specialist to verify its authenticity.
People who believes they may have been sold a fake watch is asked to contact DC Thor Long using any of the below methods:
- Facebook – send a private message to /DerbyshireConstabulary
- Twitter – direct message the contact centre on @DerPolContact
- Website – complete the online contact form www.derbyshire.police.uk/Contact-Us.
- Phone – call 101.
